C2 doesn't work properly on Windows 10 (invisible hand glitch) but then again it does that with windows 8 too.
I dunno about c1.
GOG C3 doesn't have Update 2 and if you get it you then need a noCD patch, but Docking Station works fine so long as you start it from engine not installblast and it even docks if you get update 2! (And when you have DS why get C3?)
All of the Creatures games apart from Creatures 2 work on Windows 10; Creatures 2 suffers from severe lag for some odd reason. I hope GOG.com get off their butts and fix the issues soon.
I suppose to try it. not gonna now. BTW I knew fully well what windows 10 does.
I am in the computer biz, and the gaming biz after all. from the frigging forced updates leading to looping restarts, to Windows logging every game, every site, and every keystroke. It sounds like a facebook/google combo with a keylogger spyware.
I am well aware windows 10 is not spyware. they sell your info to companies for targeted ads just like Facebook or Google. as for the keylogging I guess it would be for like what that 10 year old kid did with xbox one, and they credited him as a tester.
or perhaps to foil hijacking viruses, so when you goto google.com, and it takes you a naughty adult site, they know you ment google.com
As in Virus, I meant that it behaves like a virus in some ways and that it also seemingly opens a back-door for more complex viruses. It's already hard enough for me to remember to run malware bytes every 5-7 days.

You probably don't want to hear anymore about these horrors, but just in case people searching the forum may want this information, I'll detail my experiences trying these games in Windows 10 today.
I tried Creatures 2 first. I can't remember how I got past the invisible hand glitch in Windows 8, but whatever I did was not undone when I upgraded to Windows 10.
1- I DO get a big black box covering the game, which also happened to me in 8, and all I do about that is move the game window so low that most of it is below the taskbar, close it, open the game, and move it back up so I can play.
2- I can't export Norns. That crashed the game, and the Norn stayed in the game. Since that incident, I haven't been able to open the Science Kit.
I tested Creatures 3 right after that and it felt incredibly smooth, making me realize how much lag I was putting up with in C2, but there's some small, trippy looking visual glitches.
1- One visual glitch appears when the game autosaves while you're playing. There's a pink, glitched up save bar that appears near your hand.
2- The other visual glitch happens when you're looking at your Norn's info, that little video feed is pink and glitch-afied.
3- Importing and Exporting goes smoothly!
Tried Creatures 1 last, since it's the oldest and I have the least amount of hope for it working.
1- There's a really static filled noise that I'm assuming is coming from the bees. I still hear the buzzing but it's just... ugly.
2- Got an error message when I tried to open the health kit that ironically said it couldn't give me an error message.
3- I tried to import a Norn, and it worked, but I got an error message that said "Access to denied" and now most of the options are greyed out, which is pretty stressful when you want to take care of your Norns. I exported him uneventfully.
And that's all I know about that!
TL;DR Creatures 1 and Creatures 2 are very broken in Windows 10, but Creatures 3 works smoothly with minor visual glitches that I, personally, can live with.
I've never played Docking Station I have 0 input there.
(Sorry this post is pretty long, I just wanted to be sure it was easy to read through as possible because I know those dyslexia feels.)
*Stabs syringes into a Norn until they live* I'm a doctor.
Docking Station works perfectly on Windows 10.
Unless you put it to fullscreen mode then back again, that is. Putting it to fullscreen mode with the options, then going back to windowed, bumps it out of 16 bit coloured mode and incidentally causes a bizarre glitch where the actual game window is squished horizontally to allow the retracted menus to fit in the same area. Closing and restarting the game fixes it.
Apart from the bizarre rainbow spew/squasheded game bug, it works fine, and it did the squasheded thing on windows 8 too.
Creatures 1 works completely fine for me and I have Windows 10 :00 I haven't had any problems with it at all. I couldn't really get 2 working, too laggy and I couldn't get the hand to be visible.
I could get rid of the Black Box of Doom only by opening Task Manager, and the hand was AWOL and the kits didn't work ('cannot establish communication with kit' or something like that, I would've just put some eggs down and done a wolfling run otherwise).
