So, if I were to take a CreatureLink Norn from C1 and use the Nornverter on it to convert it to C2, then breed it and put its offspring on CreatureLink, would the offspring still be accepted? Just wondering, because the Nornverter takes a creature's name, appearance, and age, and then slaps it onto a standard C2 Norn genome, so it may as well be a different creature entirely. *whistles and hides plans to do something awesome* |

I'm going to say that it doesn't - or at least shouldn't count. As you pointed out the Nornverted creature doesn't use the same genome as its parents. In fact, I believe a Nornverted creature is technically a gen 1 as far as C2 as concerned. As such, it's technically not an offspring of its parent as it shares no genes with said parent. Aw, I was sure that the nornverter directly converted the genes (though c1 genes would make for a very unusual C2 creature) |

I agree with Grendel Man; I believe the NornVerter simply copies the Creature's appearance, and pastes it upon a Creatures 2 genome. As a result, if you try to download any of AntiNorn's tortured Norns, and convert them, they'll be perfectly fine when you import them into Creatures 2.  |

I don't think converted norns should be an option, unfortunately. It really is unfortunate that the conversion process ignores most of the creature's genes. C1/C2 would take hours for individual offspring, meaning it's actually more legitimate and adds more value to your uploads. |

Well, it wouldn't be on as large a scale as when I do it for C3, but there would still be tons of babies, especially if the CreatureLink Norn was male. |

I can't speak for Rascii, but seeing as Grendel Man is the one who manages CreatureLink now, I think he should have the final say on this matter.  |
