Let's see....... 1 2 1000 is some component of the world switcher, so it makes sense that the game glitches upon start... I have no idea what the error could mean, though.
Do you have a world or something which is called CRA0002? If yes, try removing it from the My Worlds folder and start the game again.
Also, after the error appears, what happens then? Does the game close? Are you left with a blank screen? Can you start worlds normally?

i'm left with this Click When it auto kills it. When it doesn't, it comes with that error and the game crashes.

also. There is no world titled CRA0002, nor any world for the matter.

Creatures 1 enabled? Do you have C12DS installed?

Maybe. It is a pretty big and complicated add-on. As such it occassionally causes problems.
It also messes around with the world switcher if I recall right, so you can create a world with C12DS right away. Maybe that's the source of evil?

People will reply if they think they can help. Sometimes you just have to be a bit patient. I'd love to help but I don't have a clue, I'm sorry to say! I've never heard of an error involving CRA0002 before, whatever that is.
Edit: The only thing I can think of is to do a complete uninstall (i.e. uninstall the game and delete everything related to Docking Station or Creatures Exodus from your computer) and see if a fresh, new installation will fix things. Other than that, I'm really stumped for ideas. Good luck, I hope you get to the bottom of it soon! |

When you are done with that and when it actually fixes your game, make sure to add agents one by one, so we can pin down the culprit.

Did you make sure to get rid of user files (e.g. agents) too? Sometimes there are remainings after uninstalling. Get rid of really everything. Then, without adding anything try to start. You want a clean, empty install of DS.

that's how it is, all the files are clean, it's like as if the game is corrupted

Which folder are you deleting when uninstalling? (the whole path not just the folder name)
Did the game use to work, or is it the first time you try installing it? |

If its a more current Windows OS, like at least 7, you may want to look into the "My Documents" and both "Program Files" folders to make sure that you completely nuked the corrupted install. I'd check the appdata folder too for good measure, since occasionally there's files in there that have escaped the purge (I learned that one when I was making my radish COB for C1 and playing around with C3 agent sprites.).
If its not Windows, I've got nothing.

Where did you get DS, from the internet or from GoG?
Check your "Program Files (x86)" folder for the actual game folder. |

i did look in program files and the agents folder is clean, and i got it form GOG

If it's from GoG your game folder is C:GOG games/Creatures Exodus/Docking Station.
Delete the ENTIRE folder after uninstalling, not just My Agents. (your norns and worlds should be in Documents).
Same goes from your folder in Documents, move your norns and worlds elsewhere, and delete the whole folder.
Then reinstall and try it. Don't even move your worlds back in the folder, just try it as it is.
(Remember not to "connect to the internet and update" or anything if it still asks that when you install. just hit cancel) |

Does C3 start? in the exodus folder there should be separate c3 and DS folders. Try each of them separately, and starting the games from the "engine.exe" files in there.
I'm just throwing out random ideas, just so you know, I haven't the faintest what's going on here. when I installed Exodus, it just added C3, and I had to go in the folder and install DS manually.
I also threw in Don't Creatures Remastered patch, (and C3 Update 2, which is probably already included in the GoG version). |

try those patches, just for the heck of it?
I'm still thinking there must be some leftover files from DS. If the game's forked for you in the past, a clean install MUST work.
Can you turn on the option to see hidden files in Windows? |

More information regarding what is going on would be super helpful, Lolitiabear:
What were you doing when you got this error? (You answered this)
What version of Windows?
Were you running it as an Administrator or let it have elevated access?
What agents do you have installed, if any?
What other changes (metarooms?) have you added, if any? (We only know of one, perhaps?)
Have you tried to remove the changes one at a time, to see if it resolves the issue?
I know that you have answered (at least in part) some of these questions, but there are a lot of things that have still been left out. |

Do you mind answering cptmashek's questions, or at least try to in the best way you can? There's a good reason why she asked you all of those things; the more information you give us, the better we can help you. But right now we really don't have much to go on, other than a description of the error. |

Can you turn on the option to see hidden files in Windows?
I second this. You never know what kind of files might be lurking in the background, gunking up your game... especially if you have switched administrator mode on/off in the past. You won't know what's there until you take a look.
If you literally deleted/uninstalled all the C3/DS files off your computer, I can see no other reason why you would still be having this problem.

When I was fiddling with spritebuilder, I actually spotted a hidden copy of DS I couldn't see directly in my program files folder, after uninstalling the game.
If you can't figure out how to see hidden files from within windows, do the same, use spritebuilder, click "open", navigate to the right place, and see if you find a docking station folder with a lock on it, delete it from within the same window. |

I'm thirding Ghosthande. Windows 7 and later just loooooves to hide files all over the place! Which is why I suggested looking for an appdata folder under both program file folders. Although come to think of it, it could have been stuck under Users; I haven't had any issues of late that required that deep of a search.
In any case it should be easy just to check into Microsoft's online help database for Windows 8 on how to unhide hidden files and then to reconduct your search and destroy mission after yet ANOTHER complete uninstall.
Although if for some reason that STILL doesn't work, might I suggest not using the native uninstallers after yet another fresh install where the problem persists and do some research for a reliable uninstall tool? For my version of Windows I use just the basic version of Revo Uninstaller because it gets everything related to that program's installation (But not the files that you should have backed up elsewhere for good measure). I'm not sure if there's a version of it for 8 but it would be a good place to start looking. If there is, just follow the instructions very very carefully if you're not adept in technobabble and you'll do fine. Then, maybe redownload your installers from GOG, run them, and don't add anything except for Don's "Creatures Remastered Patch" just to be absolutely sure that it works?
I understand that this might be an extreme solution to a very frustrating problem, but you never know until you conduct as thorough research as you can before giving it a go.
