Here's how it works! All second-gen norns are hatched with pics posted here, and people on here will pick a norn to "sponsor" and name out of the whole crowd. However, there are a limited number of slots for participation in the second gen. The clan with the lowest amount of eggs will only be allowed five norns in the upcoming run, with the more productive clan getting a slightly larger number of participants - seven, let's say. This means that in each subsequent generation there should be twelve norns from the two main clans.

However! Don't forget that The person whose first-gen norn is responsible for the most new eggs gets to add a new female of a new clan, in order to spice up the genepool a bit. This female will have a maximum of 7 children to make a new clan in the third round, which will start out in the jungle terrarium. The opportunity to add a new clan will come around again, but probably only in a few more generations, as I don't want the world to be overrun by too many . These rules (which may change a bit) will be pretty much the same for each generation.
