i was thinking about the creatures professions agent made by another user, and i was so pumped about it. The first thing that came to mind was that i could form a monarchy. But sadly, even though the concept of it was great and creative, the overall product was quite buggy. But then i got to thinking more. So, I thought, what if i could create a gene that allows norns to give commands, and others to follow? I'll have to do some research about how norns respond to commands, but i think i'll be going somewhere with this.

Norns already have a mechanism for making suggestions to each other - in CFE and CFF creatures, (creatures with a working friend or foe lobe) they will remember which norns they like, and follow their suggestions more.

Yes, but, instead of comming off as a suggestion, it will be more of a command. IE: instead of saying "Mabey eat seed so and so!" the leader norn will say "eat seed." And the follower norns will have to obey. If they fail to however, this can result in a punishment.

after thinking about it, i might have to create a new brain lobe all together. So i'll have to do some studying about the brain to continue with this.

Technically all creatures' friend or foe lobes work... but non-CFE/CFF Creatures will forget all their relationships when they sleep (the same way they forget all learning when they sleep). So, it's not so much that the lobes don't work, they work while the creature is awake... and during that time it can develop a like or a dislike or two, and react appropriately, but it forgets everyone it knew and who it liked or disliked as soon as it falls asleep.

well with that being said, i'll have to make sure that creature's don't forget who's boss. and wile i'm at it. mabey i'll even make a norn that causes them to heard together, like, make little clans.

There are bugs with Creatures Professions? IIRC everything worked fine when I last tested it, what issues did you have? Perhaps I missed something...

Despite the fact theirs sound files missing, for some reason the seeds won't work.

Hmm, weird =/ IIRC you need the creature (with the farmer profession) to push the seed box, and then from time to time it would throw seeds in the ground. I'm not sure if the seeds are able to grow everywhere, or just where carrots normally would be able to grow, though. Ah well, it's been so long :(

I've decided to make leader and follower norns look like lions, and add African jewelry in honor of my ancestors. And i'll probably even add new critters and a meta room, so i'll probably make a new pack all together.

The meta Room in this pack will be a african savanna, a day and night cycle, and some new plants and critters, like one i came up with which is a mixture of a zebra and a gazelle. I'll be posting concept art soon!
