i thought its about time i posted this because i remember it when i was younger but never actually knew what it was. basically in the c2 world between the world tree and the island with the coconuts there is the body of water and there is a strange green lifeform that comes out from behind the rocks and i've never been able to find any information on it whatsoever so could someone help? |

Sounds like you might be referring to Borland! That link provides some information about it. You can view a picture of it here, just to make sure it's the right thing. Always scared me when I saw it, although over time I came to like the rare appearances of Borland! |

oh gods thats him! i had a picture stored on my deviantart and came across it earlier and i thought it was about time i asked since its so freaky especially when he just stabs the fish so other then eating fish and scaring children did he ever have any other purpose? |

I don't think Borland really had a purpose besides eating fish, scaring children, and serving as a sort of easter egg/developer in joke. From the depths of Deep Lurkspace I emerge... And suddenly can't remember what it is I came up for. |

Yeah he comes out whenever there are too many Zander Fish... and eats the extras. Kind of like how the rabbit in the jungle area eats surplus carrots. I'd love to see a Borland Ettin breed! I know some people think he's creepy but I always found him really cool.   |
