I'm curious about what Creatures and the CC mean to people now. Why do you hang out with us and this old game from the nineties? |

It's not an old game - it's still being worked on (by fans if not by devs), still being played, still being enjoyed. New people are still finding it via GOG. And this is a pretty cool place to hang out. |

Mostly my own curiosity; it's fun to see people discuss different aspects of the game and it's a nice little community full of nice and friendly people. |

Because I'm a bit late to the party, so everything's still rather new to me. |

I stick around because I was always a lurker. I was there for all of it as it happened and never contributed because I didn't need to. Now that there's less people, I feel responsible to contribute if I want to enjoy continued content. |

Because it's become my online home. CCaves started out as a place for me to play an old game with other people who were still playing that same old game but now, it's become a place where I can connect with other people just in general. It's friendly and safe here and that's one of my favorite things about this place.

I stick around because of the people. I can't even play the games anymore on my MacBook Air, but the people in the community are amazing.
I'm also still hoping that Creatures Online will be released someday and I can play again.

I stick around because Creatures has been a huge part of my life for almost two decades. Why stop now? ![[nlaugh] [nlaugh]](/images/smilies/emot_laugh.gif)
I also love this community and my role on Creatures Caves. I was so thrilled when I was asked to become a moderator all those years ago. I've stuck with this website through both its peak times and its low times; it's very hard to leave! Plus, I feel as though I've grown up with a lot of the people here.
I like to hope that I'm giving back to this amazing community with all the agents I create. Having a newfound addiction to developing helps somewhat! |

No, it's just how nice this community is. Whether we're talking about the Creatures series or something else it's just nice being here. Plus, the games are still fun, regardless of their age. |

I stick around CCaves because like Kezune says, it's become my Internet home. It's just a really nice place and the fact that the Creatures games are still fun after all these years is just a nice plus. I still play the Creatures games because there's no game like it out there. Plus I'm sort of addicted to wolfling runs or my own feral runs.

Everyone knows everything was better in the '90s, sheesh. And here we are now, entertain us little Norns.
I wish I could play Creatures on my creaky little MacBook, because it would be running behind everything I do, all the time. I miss playing C2 and having that mournful music play in the background. A lost world found.
I'm looking forward to the release of CO... which at this rate, may be sometime during the 2090s. The Creatures Community has always been filled with quirky, sometimes friendly, sometimes not so much, people. It feels good to waft in and out. Waiting. Waiting.

This is my home away from home. <3 This is the best pseudo-family a girl could wish for, in my opinion.
Also, I don't think I could live without my Norns and Ettins, at this point in my life. Creatures has been part of me, like most others here, since the nineties. That's nearly 2/3 my life, steeped in breeding and developing (and lurking).![[ngeek] [ngeek]](/images/smilies/emot_geek.gif) |

I don't really stay for creatures anymore, honestly. I'm more interested in you guy's life's than anything at this point, and you are a warm and welcoming community, creatures or no creatures.

Because of the community. I think development keeps me around as well - there's always something new you can do with the games |

I think Mr Johnson put it nicely.
Though I have to admit that he is kinda rude.

Creatures has been around for nearly my entire childhood. I can't seem to drop the game no matter how much I attempt to forget about it! XD
Norns are an important part of my life, though I'm not sure why.
