Hi I'm new to this forum but I have a big problem. I have Creatures Exodus (GOG.com) for XP and I downloaded the Creatures 3 Update 2. I'd downloaded the Creatures Remastered Patch before.
Anyways, I successfully loaded the update but now C3DS won't open. It says I need to insert the C3 CD-ROM. How do I undo the update so I can play Creatures 3? And incidentally, how do you get agents in Creatures Exodus (GOG.com version)?
I'm open to suggestions. |

Welcome to Creatures Caves, meepyalbia! As far as I'm aware, the GOG.com versions of the Creatures games already include all the updates, so there's no need to download them again. I'd try completely uninstalling Creatures Exodus, and then do a fresh install to see if that works.
Have you ever used third-party agents before? Make sure you have the Creatures Remastered Patch installed first, and that the agents are installed correctly; most agents include a readme file with installation instructions. Most often than not, it's just a case of placing the .agents file into the 'My Agents' folder, and then injecting them into your world. Do you have a docked world? |

Thanks for the welcome. Sorry I didn't introduce myself earlier I've been rather busy with online summer school. Ugh!
I did what you said and it works now! Thank you! However I can't find a "My Agents" folder in my C3 Directory. What could it be in?
P.S. I don't have a docked world but will soon. |

It could be in your Documents folder.

I checked and I didn't find any sort of folder like that.
Then I tried to downloading C3 again from GOG.com and that didn't work. What is advised? |

You're welcome! I'm happy to hear you got it sorted. Was it in the GOG Games directory? |
