After I used the CAOS tool, I can no longer type to my creatures in-game! I tried re-loading the world, logging in and out, but I still can't type! ;(
Is this a known error, or is it something else on my part? Please help, Lol.
EDIT: Oh, and when I try and use the hand-help thing that says the words, that doesn't work either... ; ^;

I've had this happen to me at least once, and in every case, I had to export all of my Creatures and start up a new world to get back the ability to speak. You might have a look at this topic for a possible solution, and there's also this topic that has a couple of other ideas.
Main thing is to make sure you're out of the CAOS tool: I typically open it up, type something in, close it, and then can type normally again. The kill hots issue seems to be something else, though.
I actually have a broken world sitting there so I can test out possible solutions. No luck so far, though! Hope this gets you started: Good luck!

Well, at least I'm not the only one with this problem... XD But, I can't really just start a new world, because the agents that I killed were accidental duplicates, so If I make a new world, then they'll come back to haunt me. ;U;
Gwah...I'll make a new post if I find a solution. :3

Ah, well at least it has to do with the kill hots command! I wasn't sure if that was involved, so at least there's a common thread. Feel free to post the solution here if you find it: Always best to have a problem and solution listed together for future reference! And we clearly do need some sort of solution for this problem... Hopefully you'll be able to figure it out!

Well, I experimented in a new world and tried a lot of kill hots commands, and it still has speech capabilities... I wonder why!? It's kind of confusing, actually.
I guess making a new world probably IS the best choice if you want to communicate with your Creatures. But it sucks, because now I have to redo everything. LOL

I know what you mean! After having it happen one too many times, I now make copies of my worlds before I have any Creatures in them. This preserves my injected agents and the placement of everything. So in the worst case scenario, I'm just wasting time exporting and importing... Not having to worry about all the rest! You can make copies of world folders, which is great for backups. Just a tip, in case you hadn't already done so!

Oh, thank you for the tip! I haven't really been doing that LOL. Of course, I've been having a lot of errors latley, if you haven't noticed already. I'm constantly asking for help XD but once I get a nice errorless world, I'll start making extra copies, just incase. ;w
