Whenever I start Creatures Docking Station (GOG Ver.) It tells me that runtime has terminated in an unusual way. I'm not really sure why this is happening, seeing that I haven't installed anything new lately... It was working just fine the other day. I tried re-installing it, and it still gives me that error! ;[ Please help me!!
Info:
High Color (16-bit)
Windows 7 (64-bit)

By any chance, did you have the pop-up come up asking you to update your game? I'm thinking that's what's related here, but I haven't run into this issue in awhile. If re-installing hasn't worked, there's a chance that some files were left behind. The GOG.com version will automatically split an installation between Program Files and Documents. You might need to clear out both spots. Hopefully this gets you started on the right path to fixing it! These games can be a little finicky, but luckily once you set things up, they usually work pretty well.
I have more information about the install blast issue located at Creatures Game Help and Solutions listed under "Whenever I start C3/DS, I get a message to update the game. What is this?"

Yeah I did get the pop-up asking me to update it. I tried changing the directory thingy to engine.exe, but then it just goes straight to the runtime error and that's it. :/
But Alright, Ill try and clear out both Program Files and Documents. I hope things will work out correctly XD
Thanks for the help By the way.

You might also have a couple of directories in Documents in the following locations:
Documents\Creatures
Documents\Creatures\Creatures Exodus
It can be quite messy! I wish the GOG.com install included instructions for fixing the installblast.exe issue. I ran the update thing once and messed up my game royally. Ugh! But hopefully you didn't have any worlds and have a list of the downloads you'll need. If you're still having trouble, feel free to post! Often it's a case of pointing someone towards some well-known help topics, while other times it requires a different sort of solution. Hope it's working for you again soon!

Do you have the exact text of the error message? A screenshot might also work!

NEVERMINDD~ I fixed it after all. I just had to re-re-install it, and make an extra-backup folder of all of the Docking Station files. Then replace all of the default Docking station files with the Backup ones I created... <Ew that sounds kind of messy, sorry. XD But yeah. Thank you for your suggestions! They really helped, to be honest. XD

Awesome! I'm glad to hear it's working again! And how my not-so-useful information helped out, in a round-about way. Ha ha!
