Help Forum Norns born from ettin eggs?    Congested      7/5/2014 Uhhh... Why is this even possible? LOL...ChiChi norns are being born from ettin eggs, but I don't want norns in that world...Is there any way I can stop this? And what could be causing this? It's really frustrating to me, seeing that I can't really stop it from happening. Any suggestions are appreciated. i cri everytiem   Lollipop Lord C-Rex     7/5/2014 Are they coming from the Ettin mother? If they are, it's because they hatch any genome beginning with the letter "E", but as far as I know the Chichi Norns' genome doesn't begin with that letter. Have you by any chance recently installed any breeds that use the Chichi Norn sprites?   Ezzy   7/5/2014 I also had once that there was a bruin norn born out of an grendel egg, that also really confused me . But by me it was luckily only once.. -Stars can't shine without darkness   Congested   7/5/2014 Yeah, they are coming from the ettin mother.. ;/ I recently got Fairyfloss norns... Maybe it's coming from that, because when I put the agent in the folder, that's when it started happening. I'll try that first and see if it works. i cri everytiem   Lollipop Lord C-Rex     7/5/2014 I recommend removing all of your third-party genomes and then add back to your genetics folder, one at a time, checking the game in between adding each one to see if there are still Chichi Norns coming from the Ettin Mother.   Peppery One Papriko   7/5/2014 Or look into your genetics folder and see if any of them starts with "e". When the game doesn't have the correct pictures to use, it will go 'near enough's good enough' so that it won't crash. My TCR Norns   Congested   7/5/2014 Yeah, I'm sure. XD Renaming the 'e' file seemed to have worked, so It's all good now. i cri everytiem   Peppery One Papriko   7/6/2014 That is only a temporary fix, though. Once you lay an egg from that breed again, it will reinstall the genome with it's original name, since it can not find the renamed version either.
