Is there a way to replace the background music in a certain room? Because I have some background music that would fit the area much better... And if I can, how? .u.
And yes, the file I want to edit is an '.mng' file.

Try not to refresh or push the post button multiple times when posting a comment, reply or thread, please. To answer your question, there a tutorial for that somewhere online. Just give me a minute to find it.
ETA: Here it is.

That's only for swapping in an existing MNG. You can't use CAOS to change the contents of an MNG or create a new one, which would be necessary to add your own music.
There is information on customizing and/or making your own MNG files here and here, and a page with a link to MNGPad (a tool that lets you edit the files) here.
Just keep in mind that C3/DS can only handle music files with a (very!) small filesize. Music snippets that exceed that limit will not play in-game, even if MNGPad lets you preview them okay.

Thank you for the help, you two~. And alright. I was refreshing the page after each comment I made, so I guess that was the problem. ; u; Oops. Sorry about that, I'm too noob to understand these things.
