Hello, I downloaded the genKit for C3/DS and the manual by Lis Morris. In the first part of the manual, there was something there that says "export and hatch the norn". How do I do that? I really want to understand using the GenKit clearly so another question is do you guys have some tutorial links related to genKit c3/ds other than Lis Morris'. Thank you!

In the Genetics kit, there is an 'Export' tab. From there, assuming you have the game running, and a genome in the kit you are working on, you should be able to inject a male, female, or random-gender egg with that genome into your world, which will hatch your altered creature.
With a genome in the kit, just open up the game, go into any world, then go to the export tab in the genetics kit, select the gender, then press the 'lay egg' button. A small popup window will come up, and an egg will appear in your world. If you are running DS, the egg should appear right near Muco the egg-layer in the Capillata's Norn Meso. If you are running C3 undocked, I believe the egg appears near the incubator in the Shee Ark's Norn Terrarium.

Thanks evolnemesis . Another question, doing that won't alter any original genome right? It will just create a creature that has the altered genome am I right? Which means if I alter the civet norn's gene ,export and hatch it then quit the genKit, the civet's original genome remains.

Right, unless you save over the genome using File... Save As... in the menu.
The genetics kit doesn't make saving over anything by accident too easy though... There is no 'Save' function to automatically overwrite and update a genome, just a 'save as...' so whenever you want to save your edits, you always have to browse and either enter a new filename or specifically select the file you want to write over.
