| Elevators Won't Work Correctly | |

A few days ago all the elevators on the Shee Ark just don't seem to work correctly. When a creature pushes it the elevator will either close and light up and then open again or they will bypass the creature completely and stop at the wrong place. I've been kill hots(ing) all of them and using the Elevines in there place. I really like the Elevines but it gets frustrating having to replace ALL of the elevators every time I create a new world. So can anyone help me, please?

Have you got DS installed? If so, is the elevator there ok? How about metarooms?
Did you install anything (agent, metaroom, etc.) immediately before the problem started? Are existing worlds affected, or just new ones? |

I had this same problem some time ago (and here's the topic I made about it).
I fixed it by reinstalling DS in such a manner that the entire Boostrap folder was replaced by a fresh new one. Unfortunately, I can't say why it worked or what caused the bug in the first place.

Um yeah it occurs in all my C3/DS worlds docked and undocked. Its even affected the Norn Meso. Old worlds seem to run fine its just new ones that give me trouble and I havent installed any new agents or metarooms in a while, it just seemed to come up out of nowhere.
Edit: Ok i will try reinstalling it then.

If you wanted to avoid re-installing, I'd just suggested temporarily removing all non-standard .cos files from the bootstrap directory and creating a new world, and see if that solves the problem. If it does, add the .cos files back one at a time.
It may be that one of the .cos files dealing with the elevators has got corrupted though, in which case you probably will have to re-install. |
