I feel like a dummy admitting to this. I promise you I have installed him according to the included instructions, very carefully, each and every step, but Gaius still hatches looking like an ettin. I'm thinking I'm missing some sprite or something I need for him to display properly, but I can't figure out what it is. I'm absolutely certain that everything in the breed pack was installed according to the instructions. Any help deeply appreciated, I'm stumped. |

There are two possibilities: 1. Are you running Creatures Exodus? If the answer is yes, and you haven't installed it to the "Your Documents" folder, you'll need to navigate to My Documents\Creatures\Creatures Exodus\Docking Station and copy everything from inside that folder into the folder where Docking Station is installed. 2. The only other possibility is that you've had another breed occupy the same breed slot, but that's pretty much impossible, as I don't believe any Ettin breeds occupy Geat Slot B. I hope this helps.  |

B? Beowulf norns and ivy norns are on Geat B. Gaius is on Geat H. Does not really change the situation, though. The only other breeds there are halloween norns and happynorns Lets play plants! Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... |

1. I am! I just went and tried that, then tried to hatch a new Gaius...and he's still an ettin. ARGH!!! 2. I don't think that's possible, I don't have any ettin breeds besides the one that comes with the game. |

It works! It works! Figured out what I did wrong. If you're easily aggravated though you may want to skip this part  I post it here just in case someone else has this problem later.Remember that thing I said about very carefully following instructions?  Well, I did, when it came to installing Gaius. But apparently what I spaced on was that I ALSO installed the Colortrue variant of Gaius, so I was trying to hatch the wrong one first. Meaning I was trying to hatch the first Gaius which came up on the list, and that was one of the Colortrues. When that finally dawned on me I scrolled down to the original Gaius and he came out perfect, so I then went back to a Colortrue and no problems there anymore. Sheesh. I worry about myself sometimes. Thank you for your suggestions, they are still good things to keep in mind if (when) I have trouble installing other things in the future. And trying to think of what else I already had installed that could interfere pushed me in the right troubleshooting direction. |

Lol I did that at first with the CFE breeds I got... I tried to hatch mall breeds CFE, and they came out looking like bruins, because I hadn't hatched the normal variety of those breeds yet, so their sprites weren't there.
