Back with another noob question: how do you keep them all straight? I have 6 norns in my first c1 game, some of them look so much alike. I wish I could mouse over each one to see who they are, is there a mod for this anywhere? Having to select each one which moves the camera to them is getting confusing. Also what is a good way to keep track of the geneology. I started a simple journal to do so until I find a more organized way so I don't lose the information. Thanks. |

I have no idea if there is an agent like that for C1, but there is one for C3/DS. It's the second one on this page and it requires Magic Words to work right. Keeping generations straight in Creatures is sort of annoying. For a basic family tree, I've noticed a lot of people use Spider Scribe and it seems to work fairly well for that. Another option is ScionPc. I've used it for my pet Grendel world and it works fairly well. It has a small family tree built in. Thanks, Kitty, Scion looks about right for now. I am sticking to C1 until I get a better handle on the basics. Scion looks more like what I have used for human geneology, and I used one like that when I played The Sims (1, 2 and 3). Nothing ever goes easy, does it? I downloaded ScionPC, when I fire it up, I cannot type in any of the boxes. Did you have any issues like that? |

Uh not really. The only thing I can think of that you didn't do was click "Add New Person" on the bottom-right menu. Once you click that you should be able to name them and add some facts. If it isn't that then I have no idea what could be wrong. The Mobula Ray - My Creatures blog |

yup, that was it. I looked all over in the upper tabs. Sometimes things are right under one's nose lol. |
