Immortal Norns?

I recently bred two ordinary Bengal Norns. They had four children. Two of the children didn't appear to age. Does this mean that they are what you might call "immortal"?

Also, how is this even possible? Is it something to do with the genetics mutating?

I'm fairly sure those are mutations if you use unmodified Bengal norns.

Using the CFE genome pretty much guarantees you can't get any more norns that don't age. I still get the occasional fast ager that just dies of old age after less than a minute, though.

There are actually two versions of the CFE genomes. There is the version that still allows aging mutations and the other that doesn't.

Yes, but at least according to the website, the CFEm genome has none of the changes that the CFE genome has and is only compatible. Or did I misread something there?

Here you go.

From the site:

What's the difference between CFE and CFEm and Standard?

Standard are the regular genetics that come with Creatures games / Mall Breeds.

CFE are Vamp's improved genetics PLUS the following traits:

Cannot become Immortal
Cannot get severe Pose Mutations
Less Likely to get strange walks and limps
Cannot survive without eating
Cannot become stuck in a lifestage

CFEm (mutable) are Vamp's improved genetics but without the extra features above - they have the standard chances to get Pose Mutations and limps, and CAN become Immortal, etc.

Alright, thanks. That was indeed an error on my part, then - once again, I just skimmed through the text and missed something important. That's kind of a problem with being a fast reader.
