Hello recently I purchased Creatures 3 on GOG and I must say that I enjoy it to the extreme.
I started grendel focused game with raised creatures cap (70 max) and Flesheater grendels as my chosen breed. I tried to minimize my involvement only runnning gene and vitality checks from time to time.
After about 50 generations I noticed something.
My grendels could survive without help with as much as 9 bacteria and several toxins in their bloodstream not to mention at least one injury.
Is this normal or are my grendels turning into immortals? |

Some of the toxins don't bother a grendel's immune system - so they can be little disease carriers throughout the Ark.
Also - after so many generations, with the selective pressure of bacteria, it's possible that mutations which allow your grendels to thrive with bacteria around have become part of the population.
Have you considered posting one for adoption?

I just posted one. He is a clone of 57th generation grendel which I transplanted to new world for testing.
I infected him on purpose with multiple bacteria and it had very little effect on him. |
