Are we allowed to keep a copy of the offspring of the CreatureLink Creatures we download, as long as we don't upload offspring's children?

If I'm understanding your question correctly, you're asking if you can keep the offspring of CreatureLink Creatures and not upload them. This is perfectly fine! You're never required to continue the link, and adopting without the intention of uploading offspring is A-OK!

The mention of the word "copy" leads me to say that it isn't preferred that you keep copies of Creatures you upload. The idea is to make sure that each Creature is unique, and only exists in one game. You're free to do what you like, of course! Just think of this as a pseudo-warp: Once a Creature is uploaded, he/she should ideally be removed from your game and system files.

Hope this answers your question! If not... It's early in the morning, and I'm prone to misunderstanding the obvious. Ha ha!
