Help Forum Albian Years C1 problems    seida      8/13/2013 Had a look around, but no-one else seems to have had the same issues. First - yes, I have Windows 8. Downloaded the GOG version of AY, and it installed perfectly. C1 seemed to run perfectly too, except for opening the health kit. Research discovered that to be a usual problem, so I ran the game as admin. Now, I can open the health kit, but clicking on any of the tabs causes the game to freeze and shut down. Not only that, but it does it for the other kits too :/ Any similar experiences? Strangely, C2 runs pretty much perfectly after I managed to get rid of the black box. Thanks!   Nudgie   8/13/2013 I have a laptop running Windows 8 so I'll install it tonight and see how I go with it. As a first thought, try running it in a compatibility mode.
