Hello again! I seem to have come across an odd glitch in C3. A 2nd gen Astro/Siamese mix was born and I exported her. Then I got a death alert and it took me to the incubator. I got this creepy feeling that something was wrong with the baby so I tried to import her but nothing happened. Even weirder is that in her history(I accessed it through her mother's history) it shows her as dead and the exportation event is shown as after death. Anybody know what the heck is going on here? |

You might have a bad install on your hands. I had a similar issue with C3/DS and the only thing that fixed it was a fresh install of the game. Make sure to install your agents one at a time and testing them between installations.

Also, I'm pretty sure she wasn't a stillborn because she walked a few steps and there was a birth icon instead of a death icon upon her hatching.
I don't have any installed third party stuff installed at the moment and all of the other babies, including her half-siblings, hatched just fine. |

She may have simply died on export. When you say nothing happened, do you mean she didn't even get imported? I'm sure there's something in place that prevents the game from importing dead creatures. I've seen babies take a few steps and simply die before so it sounds more likely that the timing was just odd.

Yeah she wasn't imported. It probably was that she died the second I exported her. Her file is still in the exported folder though. Also, is it possible for an event to be listed as after death, because the exportation was listed as after death in her history. |

Maybe. I've never seen this happen before, personally.
