I've got an odd glitch in C2. My females are pregnant but will not lay their eggs. What happened was that they were in the process of laying their egg but they fell asleep halfway through. Their progesterone levels are still sky high. These females were not related and had successfully laid at least 1 egg before. I'm wondering if anyone else has come across this and if there's a simple solution. |

Have you looked at their genes? Their genetics can reveal a lot more about quirks than you might think.
Sometimes, creatures are born with mutations to their receptors that might not allow them to lay an egg or causes them to feel hungry when they should feel tired. Instead of involuntary action (lay egg), for example, they might have mutations that cause involuntary action (fall asleep).

I guess it could be genetic but the the guilty gene would've had to switch on after a certain amount of time because they all laid 1 egg plus 2 of my 3 victims were generation 1 from the hatchery. |

They could just be tired. Have you checked their drives?
