I find that I'm recently having trouble with staying logged in on the Creatures Online forums. I go to the login page, I log in and get the "You have been successfully logged in." notification, my name appears at the bottom of the screen... BUT! the "Username: Password: | Log me on automatically each visit" still appears at the bottom of the screen, and I appear to be logged out - I can't report kitchenware threads or reply to topics.  I can only imagine it's due to the recent switch from creatures4-thegame to creaturesonline - but how can I fix it? My TCR Norns |

Odd. I haven't had any issues with this. Have you tried visiting other parts of the site after you log in to see if it's an issue that just appears after logging in? I'm not in my technical state of mind right now with a fever and all, but if it persists and doesn't seem to have an obvious solution, I'll be happy to pass this along to the main admin people over there. Granted, it usually takes a few days or weeks for them to respond... But at least letting them know about a potential issue could be good! These kitchen cabinet spambots are driving me crazy. Now I just laugh when I see them, though! If anyone is curious about them and all, though, please do not click through any of the links. Who knows what the sites really are, and whether they have malware or anything else. Just a random public service announcement! |

A person on the facebook page is having the same problem as me:
She then tried to use the email retrieval feature, which didn't work for her, too. The official response was: ...Please be so kind and contact us here via private message and provide us with your login name and your e-mail address. We'll then take care about this issue and come back to you as soon as possible. ^ic I think I'll do the same thing - just in case anyone else is having trouble with the official forums. The fact that they only accept messages via private message is ridiculous. How can people with log in issues get in touch with them? I had the same problem not long ago but I emailed one of the staff directly and it was solved. I assume it was by private message on facebook (which I have done - waiting on a response, but time zones being what they are, i don't expect one soon). I often contact an admin on the forum via PM for someone else. I agree that it really is kind of hard to get in touch with anyone on the technical side for login issues and whatnot. I'm sure the ambassadors would be able to help out, but our privileges are mostly limited to just editing and deleting topics. Glad to know you're back in, Malkin! |
