Wasn't sure whether to post here or Dev forum, so I'll post here just to be safe.
I have a sound that refuses to play in DS. It's not corrupted; I've opened it in two different sound editors with no issue.
One thing I noticed was that the sound was in mono format; I converted it to Stereo, hoping that would fix the issue, but no.
Would anyone have any ideas of why it won't play? It's a 32 bit stereo wave file, playing at 44100 Hz.
Here's a link to DL the file if need be.
Any help would be much appreciated.

IIRC, sound file names need to be 4 characters long - 'thud1' is one too many.

The engine is very specific about formats. As well as being under a certain size, it needs to be the same as the original files, PCM 8 bit mono 11khz. I had a lot of trouble with this a while back.
Edited to add exact information. |
