C3 in DS Metarooms: No Ecology?

I'm having a bit of an issue with the C3nDS metarooms.

I have all the files needed for the C3 part, and I injected the metarooms, they all look fine and dandy...but there's no ecology in it. At most, there's a few ants and dragonfiles in the norn terrarium. The machines, such as the volcano, don't seem to work either. Is this the way it's supposed to be?

I'm using this on a Docking Station, non Exodus world. I copied my files from my Exodus game on my desktop to my laptop so I could have the files, since I lost my Exodus disc a long time ago.

The Grendel and Ettin egg layers still seem to work, apparently.

EDIT: I have figured out my problem
I forgot to move the cos files
However, now I have the issue of having the cos files in there, because once the cos files get in the DS bootstrap folder the game searches for the locations of the agents at the startup of the world, doesn't find it, and immediately goes into "shut down everything" mode. I'm going to try to solve this by copying my entire C3 folder into my Programs(x86) folder and hoping the agent recognizes the game properly.

EDIT2: Well that didn't work. So I'm going to try running the game. I tried just copying the Creatures 3 folder into Program(x86) but it didn't want to run. So now I'm copying the entire Exodus folder. My new question is: Since I'm working with a non Exodus Docking Station (and I'd prefer to stay that way, for Genetics Kit purposes) will my Docking Station register my Exodus Creatures 3 and make the agent work properly?

EDIT3: Once again I answer my own question. No. One more try, going to put both Docking Station and Creatures 3 in one folder. If it doesn't work, I'll replace the Docking Station files in my Gameware Development folder with my current DS files and go from there.

Last Edit, Promise: I finally have it all figured out. It basically is a thing with the Engine when it comes to Exodus, it was so obvious. I guess the only other way around it would be to make an agent of those cos files to inject after injecting the various worlds, but that's going to take more time and concentration than my frustrated brain at 3:30 AM can take right now. So I'm just going to have two different versions of DS running.

Do not upset the ugly worm, lest it be a dragon in disguise. (>oo)>

I believe somehow it was possible to change some config file to let it point to the C3 files, regardless where they are installed.

I'd tell you how, but I'd need a working C3/DS install for that purpose, but I did not get my C3 to work either, hah!
Actually somewhat ironc...

It's in one of the .cfg files. They're listed as "auxiliary directories".
