Help Forum Adoption help!!    Jubithaous      5/21/2013 Hello my name is Jubithaous and im new to cratures caves. When I go to adopt a creature I have the file. I have Creatures 3 on a disk and i'm not able to put the file into a "My Creatures Folder" because I don't have one. Do I need to create a folder? and it also wont give me any other options besides burning it onto a disk and it wont because I don't enough space. Trell "Holy crap in a casket!"   Air Guitarist kezune     5/21/2013 It would probably be easier for you to adopt creatures if you install the game to your computer instead of running it from a disk. If you're disk is out of room, I'm afraid there isn't much help we can offer except to delete other non-essential files from your disk. If you installed it to your computer, you would have to locate your Creatures 3 folder (in my case C: \Users\<USER>\Documents\Creatures\Creatures 3. Yours is most likely in a different location ) look for a folder that says "My Creatures" and put the .creature file in there. Then, in game, you would have to open the upper right menu, look for the "Import" button (a plus) and choose the creature you want from the menu and push the check. Updated Rehosting Policy[/title]   Jessica     5/21/2013 Some newer systems of Windows are known to have issues with the original discs. I recommend checking out GOG.com for Creatures Exodus. It's a very reasonable price, and I can attest to it working well on both Windows Vista and Windows 7! Discover Albia   Jubithaous   5/21/2013 Is running on windows 8 pc ASUS. I've never been able to get C3 functioning on my Windows 7, let alone a Windows 8. Trell "Holy crap in a casket!"   Jessica     5/21/2013 The link I provided includes Creatures 3 and Docking Station. I also have a really old topic about installing Creatures 3, but I'm pretty sure this process no longer works. GOG.com is currently the only legal method to get the Creatures games. We're pretty sure they'll be included with the collectors' edition of Creatures 4, but the release date for that hasn't been set yet.
