That nice little information bar at the bottom of the screen in Creatures 2 - the one that shows you what season it is, alerts you of any births of deaths, etc. - doesn't seem to exist in the GOG.com version of C2. It's not a big deal, because you can obviously cope without it. It just bugs me that it isn't there. Is this a problem with GOG's edition of the game, or is it just another Windows 7 bug? Or maybe there's just a patch or COB I'm missing that could help restore it? |

Actually, it's an optional bar that is automatically turned off by default. I don't have C2 open right now, but you should find an option in one of the menus to show the "Status Bar" or something similar. Hopefully you'll find it quickly... And hopefully I'm talking about the right thing. Ha ha! |

Go to View > Status Bar on the top menu.  |

Ah, thank you both! I was convinced it was just me. xD I find it a bit odd that it's turned off by default, though. Must be something to do with The Albian Years? I've got the original game installed via disc on my old Windows 98 and the Status Bar was always on. |
