I decided to start setting up my new world in Creatures 1 for the next generation. Luckily, I decided to test everything first, because I'm planning on using a lot of COBs this time around. I just encountered the following pop-up error: Clicking OK or closing it out just causes the error message to come up again. Here is what it says:
Creatures encountered an exception during execution of a macro script, most probably not due to a syntax error.
Offending portion of the macro: iy[][]
Token:
Note that the "iy[][]" really shows up as an "i" and a "y" with accents, followed by two rectangular boxes. I know my installation is fine: Just played the other day without any issues. Here is a list of COBs I injected. Those with an asterisk are new and have never been used before. The others have been utilized in worlds that have run for months without any problems.
- 24 Incubator
- 24 Push
- Bees and Hives Upgrade
- Grendel Friendly
- Multiple Grendel Button
- Refrigerator 1*
- Bliumea* (By Jessi)
- Happy Pink Flower* (By Jessi)
- Radishes* (By Mioonktoo)
- Mugug Fruit* (By Jessi)
- Radish Basket* (By Mioonktoo)
- Rodirea* (By Jessi)
- Mama Mushu* (By Jessi)
- Muggy* (By Jessi)
Jessi's COBs can all be found Here. I'm thinking this is probably from either the Mama Mushu or Muggy: Both seem rather complicated critters who can reproduce or dig up food items. My test Grendel had made heavy use of the Muggy's ability to gather food a few minutes prior to the error popping up. I'm not 100% sure, but I think the error coincided with an autosave.
I also just remembered that I removed The Cow, the Winter Mushu, and the Nannybug through the Injector Kit kind of close to the time of this error. Might one of those removal scripts be the cause of this problem?
Any help is most appreciated! I'll probably just stick with my tried and true COBs, but it would be great to at least rule out some of the above. If you've used any of the ones with asterisks without any problems, it would greatly help me! Thanks!
