So I'm using the updated C1 genomes, so my Norns can die natural deaths of old age, but I'm having issues with hatching them. I only get male Horse Norns, female Banana Norns, and the occasional Pixie Norn, which is usually stillborn. No PMNs, Forest Norns, or Ron Norns. I'd think it was just a coincidence, but I've hatched over two dozen eggs! ![[nsurprised] [nsurprised]](/images/smilies/emot_surprised.gif)

Are you hatching them from the hatchery? That would explain it: You should only get the breeds listed. There is an alternate version that I don't use, but which replaces the other eggs in the hatchery with PMN, Forest, and Ron Norns... I believe. I'll look into it and send you an e-mail!
I usually hatch my Norns via the Genetics Kit... Haven't used the hatchery in awhile, although it is a nice in-game feature. Might have to try it out again!

Huh. I've edited the original genomes with the fixes and I'm able to hatch them from the hatchery just fine.

I know what each egg contains before I even hatch it. One female pixie, two female bananas. One male pixie, two male chocolate Norns.

The only other thing that just came to mind is the file location: If you're using the GOG version, you should have Genetics folders under two different directories. Make sure you're updating the active one, or to be on the safe side, replace the files in both locations (My Documents and the C: drive).
Just sent you another e-mail! I must be added to your list of spammers by now with all this activity today. Ha ha!

It kind of works. The pink spotted egg now contains a PMN. I wish there was a way to get it to randomize again...
