At long last, I now have a completely working C3/DS installation! Now there is just one small issue I'm trying to resolve, and I would appreciate any help. I hatched an egg of every breed to install the sprites and body data files correctly. All went well... Except for the Bengal des Neiges Norn. This one has all Ettin body parts and the V1 head... When I made sure to redownload the V2 breed from SeeYou7. Does anyone have an idea of what is going on? If it helps any, my agent file is dated April 13, 2005. I'm particularly curious about the V1 head showing up, when I've only ever used V2. I hatched a few more eggs, but the Ettin body is still showing up. I'm also fairly certain the male has a backwards head. So strange! Thanks for any help! |

i noticed that when i hatched some the other day but i actually downloaded the V1 version. the male head was backwards for whatever reason and they had ettin bodies. maybe if you contac the creator? i know she still pops up on here everynow and then |

The oddest part is that I know they were installed correctly before, yet the same file wasn't correct this time around. Your issue is exactly what happened to me, Magpie-Angel! Perhaps I could head over to the COB detectives and have someone with a working V2 file send it to me. I just don't know what happened: Seems so strange to have this one problem! |

Problem solved! Blind me forgot to install the .att and .c16 files included with the download, thinking that the agent installed these for me. Had to install them to a few directories due to my setup, but I finally figured it out! I believe that the V2 download includes the V1 head, so that if you don't install the correct files, you'll end up with Creatures who have Ettin bodies and V1 Bengal des Neiges heads. Sorry for my silliness! At least I learned something about this download, though. Glad that everything is working again! Now I can finally enjoy C3/DS! |
