Help Forum Norn not importing, Creatures 3    GreenFroggyy   3/10/2013 I downloaded a norn, then I put it in ..\Documents\Creatures\Creatures 3\My Creatures, then I launched game, loaded world, pressed "Import" in the norn menu, but my downloaded norn didn't appear in the menu. Only 2 other ones that I exported earlier. WHAT SHOULD I DO?   Malkin Manager     3/10/2013 If you're playing Exodus, it has two sets of folders. One is in Documents, and one is probably somewhere like here: CProgram Files (x86)\Gameware Development\Creatures Exodus\Creatures 3\My Creatures Try putting the norn's file in that folder instead. My TCR Norns   GreenFroggyy   3/10/2013 Still, nothing.   Jessica     3/10/2013 I typically place all of my Creatures in the Docking Station directory for My Creatures, though I'm not sure if that will make much of a difference. Was there anything different with the other Norns that showed up? Make sure that the file names are all the same: You might need to unzip a file in .zip or .rar format. Not sure if those suggestions will help, but I hope everything works for you soon! Discover Albia   Norngirl     3/10/2013 Also make sure that the Creature export file is a C3 , as the export file is often taged with a ds in the filename for DS,and I belive there might be a C3 hint of the C3 ones *is a bit unsure there - but I know the DS ones have ds last in theyre names* As you can't import DS taged Norns (even if it was docked with C3) to C3 standalone ^^'   GreenFroggyy   3/11/2013 Oh, that's awesome, because I don't have a DS account. Yay!   Jessica     3/11/2013 You don't need a DS account to play Docking Station: There is the offline patch option available, along with the option in C1toDS. I'm in a rush at the moment, but if no one else posts the links, I'll be sure to add them in later on! Discover Albia   Tea Queen Laura     3/11/2013  1 DS Offline Option Creatures 1 to Docking Station   Norngirl     3/11/2013 I just meant mainly if you do find a Norn who look like a C3 one (say a bruin-bengal mix) and it's background is of C3 in it's photo (is wandering in the Norn terrarium) but happens to be a DS one,as it was born in a Ds docked with C3 world (and that it maybe isn't clearly noted if it's just DS or C3 standalone) ^^' That way you won't be able to import that norn to C3,no matter how much it may look like it is for C3 XD So one has to be cheking the filename - hopefuly the person hasnät renamed it (getting rid of the moniker name) ;3
