Hi folks,
This came up on another thread, and I thought here would probably be a good place to ask. I've got a copy of CrEd32, but when I try to run it, it tells me it can't run because file VCL30.dpl isn't found. This is part of Borland Delphi, presumably the software used to create CrEd32.
Does anyone have this file? I've searched the internet, and the only thing I could find was a support package for JCMBsoft; it claims to provide that file but it's an .exe so frankly, it could do anything so I'm not keen to install it on a live system. Can anyone else help? |

That file should be included with the download, Nutter. According to the Readme, it should be placed in the Windows\System directory. I've had luck using CrEd32 without moving the file, though I've done just to be on the safe side!

Nope - I've got the original .zip file, and it's not in there. Perhaps I've got an old version of CrEd32? It used to run on my first machine, which I've still got in a cupboard somewhere - it still works (or did when I put it away) so I may dig it out and see if I can find the file in the system directory. |

You could try re-downloading it from the CCSF 2012. That version should be the latest one! The Creatures Wiki also has a few old archived sites/downloads listed.

Fab, I didn't know CCSF 2012 existed! Have extracted the file and CrEd32 now works, thanks! |
