Help Forum Hatching a female grendel? (C1)    Malkin    Manager     2/7/2013 How do you hatch a female grendel from the grendel mother in C1 these days? I know you can adopt a female grendel from somewhere (even breedable grendels), or use the genetics kit (and CrEd32?) but are there any other ways? It's more of an academic question than anything else, but it might help someone now that The Truth About Grendels is offline... My TCR Norns   Jessica     2/7/2013 Sad to see the site isn't working anymore! I know I picked up a pack of C1 COBs that allows the player to choose the gender of the egg coming from the Grendel Mother: There is a COB for female, male, and random (which gives a chance for either a male or female). Silly me didn't save a copy of the original download, so I have no idea who made these. I'm not currently using these at the moment, but I know they have worked for me in the past with no problem! I can't say the same thing for some other Grendel COBs... I remember one which removed the Grendel Mother in C1 ended up locking up my game and forcing me to start a new world. My TCR Norns   Jessica     2/8/2013 I don't think it matters much now, but I found these downloads available over at Norntropolis, along with a few more C1 Grendel COBs! Not sure how reliable some of them are, though the Grendel Good and Grendel Machine downloads are the ones I've used without any problems. Discover Albia   Devil COBbler GirlySatan     2/8/2013 I actually have a COB by Muppetboy that will change the grendel machine so it will hatch male and female grendels and stop popping them out after a certain number of them are in the world. They are also breedable and multicolored. I have it here under 2 5 30. Hope it helps!
