To put it simply; Would anyone be willing to give me some tips for making a Facebook page for my Creatures blog?

I assume it's as easy as logging into your Facebook account and then going to this link, in order to start creating your page:
https://www.facebook.com/about/pages
I don't think you can go wrong if you add a nice cover photo, update the page regularly with links to your blog entries and post it on existing Creatures Community pages! Jessica, Don and C-Rex are good people to ask for tips; Jessica has one for her blog, Discover Albia, C-Rex maintains the Creatures Caves page and Don also manages several pages. |

Laura is correct! I mostly use the Discover Albia Facebook Page to announce new blog posts, and sometimes to share important community news. It's pretty simple to set up a page, though I believe you need a certain number of fans before you can customize the name of the page. I've found that it's a pretty great way to connect with the Creatures community! You can keep it very simple to start with as you get used to the different options. It takes a decent amount of time to build up the number of fans, but I still think it's a useful way to connect and share news. If you have any specific questions, feel free to fire away! Good luck!

I'd recommend you try it out, but keep in mind that you'll have to post quite frequently and I ended up deleting my Docking Station Galaxy page because I couldn't keep up with the posting. |

What category should I put it under?

Mine is currently under Websites & Blogs -> Personal Blog. I think I used to have it categorized under Brands & Products ->Games/Toys, but that never seemed to be accurate. Funny how there really aren't any options that it would fit into! I'm pretty sure the category isn't too important, so long as you're remotely close to what you're representing. I might question you if you put it under People -> Monarch or something like that. Ha ha!

Ha ha! All hail the Queen of Albia! XD
The categories it gives are Local Business or Place; Company, Organization, or Institution; Brand or Product; Artist, Band or Public Figure; Entertainment; and Cause or Community. And the Website category is under Brand or Product. There doesn't appear to be a Websites & Blogs there... Hmm...
