So the genetics kit for c3 says it has trouble reading the registration key or that it can't find it. Thus, anything I make cannot be put into my game. Does anyone know why this would happen? |

When you installed the Genetics Kit, did you use the license information provided at the Creatures Development Network? This might also have to do with the Remastered Patch: Have you installed it? If you have the exact error, it might be helpful to provide a screenshot or to copy it exactly as it appears on screen. Hopefully this will help you out!

i have pretty much the same problem. even with the remastered patch the genetics kit can't seem to connect to the game and will state that there is no open window of the game.
i think it says something along the lines of "intial connection failed" |

Have you made sure that an egg doesn't get injected? I have an error message that pops up anytime I try to inject an egg from the Genetics Kit into C3/DS... I thought everything was broken, but an egg ends up right near Muco! I'll have to see if I can duplicate the error message.
Another silly thing I've done a few times, especially with the C1 Genetics Kit, is to click the "Inject" button rather than the "Lay Egg" button. I doubt that's what this problem is, though. Just figured I would share another silly story!
