My little sister is begging me to download this for her. On the Creatures Wiki, it said something about it creating bugs in the game, I think..? Is there a safe way to let her use this that won't break the game?
Also, she's wondering if it ages the Creatures like the Instant Vocabulary in C2.

I never used the Super Speech Toy, but from my understanding it pretty much acts like a faster version of the learning computer (which means creatures using it won't age - then again, I'm not even certain C1 has an instant vocab command). If you really want to use the thing, I recommend strongly limiting its use until right after the game autosaves.
Alternatively, you could convince her to instead use the Encyclopedia Nornica. It has the same function, but it won't crash the game (at least, I've never seen it crash the game, and I've been using it for quite a while). It is a little more complex than the Super Speech Toy, though.

Grendel Man covered everything perfectly: The Super Speech Toy has been known to cause problems if it running when the game autosaves. The Encyclopedia Nornia is a perfect alternative, though! I still like using the original computer and teaching any other words myself... Though the Encyclopedia Nornica contains pretty much all available words, including needs/emotions.
I'm not sure about your second questions regarding aging with the Instant Vocabulary in C2. I haven't heard of this happening with the Encyclopedia Nornica, if that helps any!
