Every single Astro/Harlequin cross that has Astro limbs and Harlequin everything else always walks with what looks like a limp... Oh yes, and they're always female. Is this normal?
Each one has been the child of Silas and Margaret, and they all looked like that.

Huh. Weird. Is that even possible? Not that you're lying, LibbyNorn -- I've had similar things happen -- but I have to file this under one of my own personal mysteries, too.
I mean, my official breed/Amanora crosses have strange gaits (because some of her breeds have thicker proportions in general, and Dream/anythings just come out screwy all the time). And I once had two standard G1 CFEm Fallows pump out a series of four or so daughters with the exact same issue going down hills. Could it be something like that, I wonder?
Genetics experts...?

It could just be a coincidence, but it was a bit too fishy. Margaret's had normal kids, but each one she's had with Silas have had this strange limping gait. Andy's seems to have gone away at childhood, but the other two had it their entire lives.

It'd be a very lucky coincidence, I think, unless limping mutations are very common. They are with me, personally, but I'm not an expert, so I can't say if that goes across the board.
Plus, like I said, there's my personal Fallow story which, unless I don't understand C3/DS genetics properly, shouldn't even be possible. If two norns with normal G1 genomes produce children with mutations, aren't those mutations "random"? Or do they just seem that way? Or is there some realism script I don't know about that allows two standard norns to produce the same types of babies, lol?
Gotta wonder.

To me, it sounds like coincidence. Your run has the bacteria still present; my guess is that the creatures got sick shortly after they hatched. Alternatively, it could be a weird genetic mutation. Granted, the coincidence is a strange one, but I've really no other explanations other than an engine florp.
As for why Normal/Amanora crossbreeds come out strange - it's because of the genome Amanora's breeds use. All of them have a bunch of extra pigment/pigment bleed genes to ensure color-edited norns keep their colors throughout their entire lifespan in C3 standalone; as such, all the extra genes tend to "shove out" other genes, such as stimulus or pose genes.
