It's really simply if they aren't changing species slot. So Norn Z to Norn T = Easy but Norn Z to Ettin T = a bit more work.
For staying in the same species slots, take a copy of the sprites and body data in the download and change the last letter in the file name from "Z" to a "T". Capitalization is not important. So a02z becomes a02t. Then open up the genetics kit and change the appearance genes to the new slot. Place the edited file in their corresponding folders in your C3 or DS folder.
To change species slots you will have to alter the first number in the sprite and body data file names. You can see here what those numbers are.

i was hoping a way to change the sprite and body data all at once instead of manually. that is a lot of files! |

I heard of a batch renamer years ago, but that information has long been lost to the black hole at the base of my skull.
It is a lot of files but it's possible. I've moved the Lilac Bengals and the Bengal des Neiges v1 to different slots and it can be quite rewarding.

You can batch rename in the Command Prompt or Powershell on Windows. I think you can probably do it in Terminal Emulators on Linux and OS X as well. |

I've never seen a batch renamer with the ability to specifically rename them how it would be needed. That doesn't mean there isn't one, I just haven't found one yet.

I think I did it in Command Prompt before. It may have taken a few tries. |

Well if anyone figures it out, let me know...please. I'm tired of having to do it manually.
