My blog needs a better name than it's got, and I'm completely open to some suggestions! http://kezune.com/sim/ Anyway, I play C3/DS pretty much every day so it'll be easy for me to provide anyone interested with something to read pretty regularly! I hope you'll check it out! Currently, I'm playing around with a hands-on world, separating out all of the different types of creatures. Every wolfling run I've had has failed, but I hope I get to entertain and educate with my posts. Also, I hope the people I've linked don't mind! Grendel_Man: I know. D: I wish I'd been more creative when I came up with that awful title, but I hope the sub-title brings a little humor into it. At least until I change it, anyway. XD Engineer Ettin: I do like the title and I've considered it, but my play style isn't very compatible with it. It certainly fits with the theme, though! Laura: No, the title is just a result of me running out of creativity. XD I was originally going to post about other sim games (The Sims, Aquazone, etc), but Creatures is the only one I've played for a long time. I'm definitely open to new title suggestions, though! I've gone ahead and done what GrendelMan suggested. I just deleted all the bacteria from the game. I may want them back later, but that's what the Macrobacteria and Bubonic Bugle are for. Anyway, I delve into Creatures 1 genes in my last update. Panda-mist: Thank you! Japan is nice, but I live on one of the smaller, more tropical islands. Rascii is right, you don't need to speak the language to visit, but keep the yen rate in mind when you buy anything. Tokyo's stupidly expensive. Rascii: "Thank you" is always a good thing to know. XD There are different degrees of politeness, though. Rule of thumb? "Arigato Gozaimasu" is the one to use. If you ask for directions, Migi is right and Hidari is left. Between 6AM and noon, the greeting is "Ohayo" or "Ohayogozaimasu", between noon and 6PM it's "Konnichiwa", after 6PM it's "Konbanwa" and good bye is different, too. "Good bye(for a long time)" is "Sayoonara", "see you later" is "Mattane". To say "It's nice to meet you" you say "Hajimemashite". That should be enough to help you out. Actually, 'sumimasen' is more like 'excuse me' or 'pardon me' and you say it if you need to get around someone, too. Its sort of an attention getter. 'Gomenasai' is 'sorry' and is very sincere. 'Gomen' roughly means 'my bad'. Updated Rehosting Policy[/title] |

I know it's been tedious waiting for me to finish moving into my new house, then getting internet then waiting for me to recover from illness. I'm still sick but then my computer had to die. Thank you Laura! This whole experience has been a nightmare. My computer was damaged internally but my husband's case was outright broken. We've made our insurance claim and we're hoping to have new computers or new parts in soon. My strep throat's gotten better since the meds, too but I'm still pretty useless to the world right now.
