Hey guys, I decided to play C1, and a year ago I bought it from GOG, as the Albian Years set. I run Windows 7 and I downloaded that Creatures Remastered update, but then I tried installing the Object Injector and it says: "Failed to copy Injector.exe to C:/Program Files/(x86)/GOG.com/Creatures Albian Years/Creatures 1/Injector.exe" Maybe I'm just being a newbie at this, but it doesn't work either when I install outside of the folder. I'd really like to try some new COBs, so yeah...if anyone has any idea what to do, thank you very much! Small bird who lives here sometimes, and wanders other times. The Albian Years already comes with the Object Injector installed.  To access it in-game, just click this button! |

Thanks for replying! Weird thing is, it was faded when I tried to click it. But maybe the installation had an issue or something. I'm going to uninstall Albian Years and try again, then! Okay, I hope you guys see this. I reinstalled, and the button looks like it works, but when I click it, it says this: "The requested operation requires elevation." I'm so confused, what does that even mean? Sorry for asking so many questions. EDIT: Issue resolved! Running as administrator seems to do the trick! I'm glad you got it fixed! Once you get used to how challenging it can be, C1 can be one of the most rich and rewarding Creatures experiences, in my opinion. The Norns are really cute for one.  |
