I try to inject COBs I've downloaded and often enough, this error message comes up:

I'm using the GOG.com version of Albian years on a Vista OS...
I have no idea why this is happening and any help is very much appreciated. |

I used to get this a lot. Only thing I thought was it was just a side effect from having tons of cobs. Most of the time injecting one of them (or an action one of them does after already being in your world) will just randomly crash your game. It happened to me SO often when I would download tons of COBS. It got so annoying that I only really keep my very favorite cobs anymore |

This is the first time I've had COBs I rarely play C1. |

(Hoping I'm not breaking any rules by replying to this...)
My little sister has had the same problem with the GoG Albian Years, and I believe she may be running Vista as well... I have no trouble at all with it on my system, but I'm running it on Windows 7. I think I might be able to resolve my sister's issue, and perhaps that solution would work for you aswell... I will do my best to fix this problem!!

Okay, she's got it working now, and I think this might help you aswell!
You have to run the game as an administrator to be able to use the Health kit. She was installing the COBs on her regular user account, and then running the game as an administrator, which gave her that very same error you got when she tried to add a COB to her world.
Here's the fix: Go on to an administrator account, and install the COB. That way, the COB is on the administrator account. You can then start up the game, and you will receive the error. Ignore the error, close it off. Unfortunately, that error will pop up every time you try and play. Just continue to close it off. You should be able to add your COBs to the world just fine now! ![[nsmile] [nsmile]](/images/smilies/emot_smile.gif)
Oh yes, RCB files don't show up at all. I don't know why, but it doesn't seem to affect the game in any large way. So if you need to remove something, I recommend the Object-B-Gone Spray Remover.
Let me know if you continue to have issues, as that could be a result of installing the COBs wrong.
