I've been attempting to dabble with creating C1 COBs recently, and ran into a brick wall when it came time to save a file with BoBCoB. No matter what compatibility option I use, whether or not I'm running as an administrator, I get the following message whenever I try to Save or Save As:
Run-time error '5':
Invalid procedure call or argument
The program then closes itself. Maddening? Yes, indeed! My main goal initially was to figure out how to edit the limits on the number of times a COB could be injected. I'm running low on a few, and figuring out how to make this change would be amazing!
Are there any other programs besides BoBCoB? Or does anyone have an inkling of how to get it to work in Windows Vista? Or, is there another way to edit the limit on the number of times a C1 COB can be injected? Thanks for any and all help!

Are you using the XP version of BoBCoB? There are a few other programs around if that doesn't work, such as CobCom and COE, possibly CrEd32. |

I'm using the version of BoBCoB from Amber Creatures: I've tried following all of the instructions, but to no avail. I might have to look into those other ones. Thanks, Ylukyun!

I know I've said to hex edit before this, but hex editing, while precise, is precise - you need to know what you're doing or something will go wrong. I'd recommend CrEd32 over trying to hex edit. ![[ngrin] [ngrin]](/images/smilies/emot_grin.gif)
