Creatures Caves

In which I beg the kind CC community for help. Again. D: (sorry about that)
I was playing creatures Docking station. Everything was going fine. I quit for a few hours. When I went to start the game again (and let me stress that I had made no changes to the game or my computer in the few hours I was away from the game) I got an error. Something along the lines of 'installblast.exe has requested the program end in an unusual way.' Not that exact wording, but pretty close. The error came up right after the box asking me if I would like to update, before the game actually started. Not seeing any other way to fix things, I backed up my stuff and uninstalled/reinstalled. Afterwards, the game worked as normal. I loaded up a test world with the agent, bootstrap, sounds, and images folders from the previous installation. I did this in the hope I might still be able to load my old world. Test world worked completely fine. However, trying to load my old world gives me two errors right after each other:

The following sprite gallery was not found:

Then the game shuts down.
If it helps, these are the agents I used in the world: Garden Box, rainbow norn doll, door/lift hiders, autonamer, creature nametags, and the Chilldren of Capatilla metarooms.
Even if I lose the world and have to set everything back up, losing those norns would really devastate me. I had JUST gotten some noticeable pigment mutations, and I had some norns I was really attached to in there.

Is there any way that I can recover this world? Or at least the norns in it?
