Help Forum [Fixed] CC Chat Won't Work    Lollipop Lord C-Rex        8/30/2012 I can't get CC Chat to work. Whenever I choose a nickname and press enter, I get an error message saying: Connection failed (Could not resolve hostname.)   Bifrost   8/30/2012 Same here. Right, I've been in touch with the IRC admins and they've said that it's a Mibbit issue, because the Mibbit setup now connects to an invalid host (WyldRyde recently merged with AlphaChat). They've advised us to use another applet and get rid of the Mibbit one: <GliTch_> have the webmaster use the alphachat gen and get rid of mibbit. <GliTch_> http://alphachat.net/chatgenerator <!Joah> Laura: yeah, it definitely seems like a Mibbit issue. just use the link GliTch_ supplied for a proper chat applet <!Joah> we don't recommend use of Mibbit Please would you be able to do that, Rascii?   Sgeo   8/30/2012 The Creatures Wiki is now pointing to the AlphaChat webchat (previously it was using the copy of the Mibbit embed on Creaturesvillage). I should note that when I wanted to copy the text from the AlphaChat generator, my cursor displayed the forbidden icon. I don't know why, and am not sure of the relevence of this.
