A friend of me recently had some problems installing C2 on Win7. She'd like to play the game again, but some questions came up: 1. Should she keep trying to get C2 work with the disks she already has (classic C2 and Albian Years) or would you recommend to re-buy it from GoG.com? 2. If bought, does the GoG version support COBs? 3. What about GoG C2 and language settings? She'd like to play in german. Lets play plants! Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... |

You can get C2 working on Windows 7/Vista by following a guide here, although some versions of C2 are incompatible. If you can't get that to work, get the GoG.com version. The GoG.com version DOES support COBs as far as I know, as long as you install the Creatures Remastered Patch. I'm not sure about the language settings though. |
