Edit: I managed to fix the problem by reinstalling a previous version of video card drivers. Thanks for your help anyway Ghosthande!  I've recently been having troubles with Creatures 2 from The Albian Years Compilation. I followed the steps to get it working on Windows 7, and had no problems playing at all. Today though whenever I play I always get horrific lag, usually when the rain falls from the clouds. I updated my Video card about a month back using beta drivers, if this has anything to do with it, but currently Creatures 2 is the only Creatures game that has this problem. Anyone know how I can fix this? (I've also tried reinstalling but to no avail) |

If you just updated your video card, and weren't having problems before, then maybe it is related. I have heard that some video cards are better for Creatures 2 than others, apparently... maybe yours is somewhere in the middle, it can run C2 but not very well. You could also try closing down any other programs you're running, to see if freeing up more space will help. If it's a video card issue and not a RAM issue then it might not, but it's probably worth a try.  |
