Unfortunately you can't do that anymore. Gameware's e-mail system has been down for a couple years now, so no one can register new accounts or recover old passwords because the e-mails with the passwords never get sent.
You'll want to use the Play Offline patch at www.creaturesdockingstation.com which will allow you to create worlds without an account.

There's also the C12DS metaroom, which has the option to create offline worlds when DS prompts you to login.
(Be sure to download the 'Beta Patch for Windows' from that page too, in order to get all the C12DS breeds to appear in Muco).
I know it's not the same as playing online, but C12DS is as good as the original C1, in my opinion. Plus you get the added bonus of having C12DS combined with DS; it's like two games rolled into one! |

But the GOG version won't help Lisha get online any more than any other version of DS - I'm not sure why you're bringing it up?

Most likely Nornynorn is referring to the GOG version of C1 in reply of Laura's mention of C12DS.
Just a guess, of course. But either way Nornynorn is just trying to help so I'm not sure why you're bringing it up, Malkin?

The way it was worded was very vague, and I was worried that Lisha might think that the GOG version would help her get online - perhaps only discovering this after buying it.
I just thought I should clarify that the GOG version will not help with getting online any more than the free versions that have already been recommended.

Wouldn't it be posible to recreate the warp network (and thereby accountcreation etc) by side of the comunity? I think it should be! The client side stuff is already there and we can (I think so) look into it as it's part of the game and therefore should be coded in CAOS. So all that has to be done is a server and some code to work with the information from the clients and sending creatures somewhere. |

I think Don was trying to work something like that out a while ago, when the warp was down. But we already have a working warp network now... it's just the email system that's down.
