Okay, so I downloaded Docking Station from creaturesdockingstation.com and installed it in the default directory. Then I installed Creatures Exodus (Kubota) from my CD, also in its default directory. I added the DS Offline patch. When I start DS, it tells me I don't have Creatures 3 installed, so I can't create a docked world. I have no memory of how I fixed this in the past. Help?
(My ivy agent is waiting for me to teach it to climb walls! I HAVE to get this danged thing working again! *sob*)

Install Creatures 3 first, then Docking Station.

From my experience, to play DS docked when your copy of C3 is from Exodus, you have to play the copy of DS Exodus also installed. DS standalone won't recognize that copy of C3. |

Got C3/DS working on hubs' netbook (whew!). The C3 THEN DS trick did the trick, thanks Sparkleblue!
HC, I think you may be right; seems like the downloaded version didn't work for me in the past. Hopefully CAOS Tool will decide to cooperate.
If I can just get things working *somewhere*, it will help me be brave enough to delete the installation on my computer and try starting over.
Fingers crossed...
