Creatures Caves

Hello,

I bought/played Creatures Exodus when it first came out. Recently I've wanted to play it again, so I dug out the original cd (I'd kept it all these years) and installed it on my old laptop.

Creatures 3 is working fine, Dockingstation isn't because it can't access the server, and I've been unable to register online.

I'd prefer to play Dockingstation offline. I live in China, and my internet is very slow. I hear there's an offline mode patch on creaturesdockingstation.com, but I can't access the website. I don't know if it's blocked by the Great Chinese Firewall, or if I just can't access it because my internet is so slow, but I need some other way to get the patch. I looked through the forums, but didn't find a reference to any other website that has the patch.

I also can't access the new official creatures website, whichever one it currently is. I admit I'm a little confused about how all this is supposed to work these days.

I tried looking for the old DS login disabler by MNB, but couldn't find it. I've also tried the manual login disabler on Creatures wiki, but it doesn't work or I'm not following the directions correctly (if anyone could give more detailed directions on how to manually disable the login, I would really appreciate it.)

Anyway, I'm sorry if my question was answered elsewhere in the forums. I looked, but couldn't find anything that referenced my particular problem.

I would really, really like to play this fun game again if I can. Any ideas?
