Once upon a time I found a blog post that analyzed the influence that a specific metaroom had on a set group of Norns. I am planning a similar study and would love to re-read the article. Ring any bells? Does anyone know the blog I am talking about? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

I believe Amai once talked about something like that at Naturing :: Nurturing. If you're looking for a post where the study was actually carried out, then I don't know as I don't remember anyone actually doing it.

Well, I couldn't find the original website but I did find the article I was talking about:

Magic's science fair paper wrote:
The exact same twenty-four norns were followed in each of the environments. They were copied so that they could be injected and locked into the test room and couldn't leave. They were watched for exactly one hour. The results were as follows:

Control Group - Meso
Number of offspring: 6
Number of offspring deaths: 1
Number of parent deaths: 4
Total population change: +1

Norn Terrarium
Number of offspring: 6
Number of offspring deaths: 2
Number of parent deaths: 4
Total population change: 0

Desert Environment
Number of offspring: 10
Number of offspring deaths: 0
Number of parent deaths: 6
Total population change: +4

Jungle Environment
Number of offspring: 5
Number of offspring deaths: 1
Number of parent deaths: 8
Total population change: -4

Aquatic Environment
Number of offspring: 3
Number of offspring deaths: 1
Number of parent deaths: 8
Total population change: -6

The experiment was repeated three times, all results were similar and within +/- 1 population change.

It was hypothesized that the environment would have an effect on breeding. As shown in the tables the data supports the hypothesis. The final population change differed between each of the environments.

One hour??? Isn't that way too short? I think one should watch them for at least 10 hours (or untill the population extincts) to make any kind of hypothesis about how the enviroment affects the popuation; furthermore I belive that 3 repetitions on each enviroment is to few too...
